Orange Lantern Globe

Three fireflies in mid-flight, frozen forever. These Penthicodes — known as “lantern flies” — come from the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. Their intricate patterns, blending red, orange, and black, are among the most sought-after in decorative entomology. Mounted at different heights on black metal stems beneath a glass dome (18 cm), they appear to dance. Calligraphed label, hand-assembled. Unique creation.
